About Carol
The Planting Consultancy was founded by Carol O'Sullivan, a highly experienced Horticulturist and Garden Designer. Growing up in Cork City, Carol's passion for the natural world was evident from an early age. She pursued her education in Geography at University College Cork (UCC) and later completed a Master of Science (Agr.) in Environmental Resource Management at University College Dublin (UCD).
With a strong urge to travel and explore opportunities abroad, Carol gained valuable experience in landscaping in the USA. Upon her return to Ireland, she decided to deepen her expertise in the field of Horticulture, qualifying in 2003 from the prestigious National Botanic Gardens of Ireland. The combination of her education and international experience allows The Planting Consultancy to provide exceptional garden design and horticultural services.
