The Patio Garden Design
This project showcases a beautiful transformation of a suburban garden in Cork City, focusing on both the rear patio area and the front garden. The garden design of the rear patio was aimed at creating an inviting space for relaxation and entertainment, whilst maximising privacy.

Patio Transformation
This garden design was all about enhancing this beautiful suburban home. Patio areas in general present an excellent opportunity to create a serene space for relaxation and family time. To achieve this Carol incorporated features such as new raised beds, built-in seating, an arbour, and stunning lighting. These elements not only about aesthetics but also increase functionality, making it the perfect place for family and friends to enjoy cherished moments together

For the front garden design, new planting was introduced such as herbaceous perennials, ferns, and ornamental grasses. These plants play a crucial role in creating dynamic garden spaces by providing seasonal interest throughout the year. These plants contribute to the beauty and biodiversity of gardens, particularly during the summer peak when their vibrant colours and textures come to life.
Plants were also introduced to surround the patio. Where before there was lawn meeting decking, now plants soften and compliment the Kilkenny Limestone paving.

Sublime Kilkenny Irish Limestone
Carol believes strongly in using Irish stone in her garden designs. For example Kilkenny Irish Limestone is renowned for its unique beauty and exceptional durability, making it a popular choice in various construction and garden design projects. This natural stone is quarried in Ireland and is characterized by its soft, muted colors, which can range from creamy whites to warm greys, it is also perfect for our wet climate and is exactly why it was an excellent choice for this project.
